Maren Minnaert Lively
Shareholder
Maren M. Lively focuses her practice nearly exclusively in the areas of family law, including cases that involve divorces, child custody, visitation, and support, valuation and division of large and complex estates, support alimony, business valuations, collaborative law, adoptions, and guardianships. She also has extensive experience in probate and estate planning, general litigation, and appellate work. As a known and respected family law attorney, Ms. Lively is routinely appointed by the courts to serve as a guardian ad litem, trustee, mediator, and parenting coordinator.
Originally from South Dakota, Ms. Lively attended Oklahoma State University, where she double majored in economics and political science. After graduation, Ms. Lively moved to Washington, DC, to attend and earn her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She has been licensed to practice law since 2004.
After working for the U.S. Department of Justice, practicing in both large and small law firm settings, and serving as an adjunct professor at Tulsa University College of Law, Ms. Lively joined Jones, Gotcher & Bogan, P.C. at the end of 2014 and became a shareholder one year later. Ms. Lively continues to represent clients in Tulsa County and all surrounding areas, including Creek, Osage, Washington, Rogers, and Wagoner Counties.
