Mr. Bogan joined Jones, Gotcher & Bogan in 2006, and practiced with the firm until 2014. After leaving the firm Mr. Bogan served as General Counsel for a large heavy-haul trucking company from 2014 until 2017, and was promoted to President of that company in 2017. Mr. Bogan rejoined the firm as an Of Counsel member in June of 2020 and became a shareholder in October of 2021.
Mr. Bogan attended the University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in 2002. He went on to receive his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in December of 2005. Prior to his temporary departure from private practice Mr. Bogan was selected as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer – Rising Star in 2012, and as a Super Lawyer in 2013 & 2014.
Mr. Bogan concentrates in a number of practices areas, including complex commercial litigation; general civil litigation; trucking and transportation; construction; real estate; products liability; labor and employment law; disputed wills and trusts; and banking.
Mr. Bogan is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Bogan has participated in litigation throughout Oklahoma, as well as several other states throughout the United States. Mr. Bogan has 3 published cases from the Oklahoma Supreme Court: Russell v Chase Investment Services Corp, 2009 OK22 212 P.3d 1178; Mastercraft Floor Covering, Inc. v. Charlotte Flooring, Inc., 2013 OK 87, 313 P.3d 911; and In Re Guardianship of L.A.C., 2024 OK 2.
Mr. Bogan has also held leadership positions in small and large private entities, served on the charitable board of Youth Services of Tulsa, and actively supports the Tulsa Boy’s Home.
