William B. Jones
Mr. Jones was the co-founder of the Firm and served as its managing shareholder for over thirty years. His undergraduate education was at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, followed by graduate education at Harvard School of Business Administration, Boston, Massachusetts. He obtained his Law Degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Mr. Jones was an active member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association and Tulsa County Bar Association, having served each organization in various capacities. He was also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Northern Districts of Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
Mr. Jones’ practice had centered for many years in real estate acquisition, development, operation and financing and in the formation and representation of banks and other lending institutions. He had also been active in the providing of legal services involving the formation, acquisition, financing and disposition of legal entities primarily engaged in the ownership and operation of real estate properties including retail shopping centers, apartment and industrial complexes.
Mr. Jones had served and on the Board of Directors of multiple corporate and other legal entities active in the City of Tulsa and elsewhere in the state of Oklahoma and adjacent states. He was also a long-time member of the Board of Trustees of Asbury United Methodist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
